Meghan Markle Suffers Humiliating Setback – This Could Be The End For Her

When Meghan Markle became engaged to Prince Harry at the end of 2017, she thought all of her royal fairy tale dreams were about to come true. Unfortunately for her, however, she just learned that she isn’t quite the royal princess that she sees herself as yet.

Daily Mail reported that Markle just found out that she will not be allowed to borrow any jewelry from the Queen’s royal collection until after the wedding officially takes place. No matter what Markle says, the privilege of wearing this jewelry is reserved solely for members of the Royal family and married women.

This means that while Markle’s future sister-in-law Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, is seen wearing tiaras at state functions, Markle will have to wait months for this honor, assuming the wedding goes forward as planned.

Etiquette expert Grant Harrold, known as The Royal Butler, explained the significance of the privilege of being allowed to wear the royal jewels.

“For married ladies it was a sign of status and would show you were taken and not looking for a husband,” he said. “For the gentleman it was a clear sign not to make advances toward the lady in question.”

Markle may never get to wear these jewels at all, however, after a clip surfaced from her past that put the royal wedding in jeopardy. The British royal family is supposed to remain strictly politically neutral, which is why they were infuriated when a 2016 video surfaced of Markle bashing then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. When asked out Trump’s momentum in the election could be slowed down, Markle held nothing back with her response.

“It’s really the moment that I go, we film Suits in Toronto and I might just stay in Canada,” Markle replied. “I mean come on, if that’s reality we are talking about, come on, that is a game changer in terms of how we move in the world here.”

“Yes of course Trump is divisive. Think about just female voters alone,” she continued. “I think it was in 2012, the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points. That’s a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is and so vocal about it, that’s a huge chunk of it. You’re not just voting for a woman if it’s Hillary because she’s a woman, but certainly because Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world that he’s painting.”

That’s not very regal, is it?!
