At the end of 2017, President Donald Trump made headlines when he finally acknowledged Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Afterwards, many countries in the United Nation voted against Trump’s pro-Israel resolution, and now, U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley is firing back at them in a big way.
The Everyday Conservative reported that before the vote, Haley warned that any country that stood against the U.S. on this would be “remembered” and the U.S. “will be taking names.” 64 countries ended up standing with the U.S. in acknowledging Jerusalem, and in appreciation of these nations, Haley promised to host a party in their honor. Last Wednesday, she made good on her promise by hosting a gala event dubbed “Friends of the U.S.” in which all 64- countries’ representatives were invited.

“It’s easy for friends to be with you in the good times, but it’s the friends who are with you during the challenging times that will never be forgotten. Thank you to the 64,” Haley wrote on Twitter.

Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon told reporters that he thinks Haley is doing an amazing job in representing America at the UN, showing true leadership.
“First, it was a courageous decision by President Trump and Ambassador Haley, and we thank the United States for this courageous decision, and tonight the U.S. is continuing to show leadership in the Middle East, real leadership in the U.N. There’s a lot of hypocrisy in the U.N.,” he said.
God bless you, Nikki Haley!
