It seems like President Trump has finally made his move against his failed presidential opponent Hillary Clinton. Justice Department has reportedly reopened the investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified material while she served at the State Department, according to Conservative Tribune.
The DOJ is reportedly considering offering her a plea deal if she agrees to plead guilty to breaking the law, according to an attorney working for Clinton, Newsmax reported.
Journalist Ed Klein, writing for Newsmax, said the discussion of a plea bargain began last month. During discussions, the unnamed Clinton attorney was reportedly told that the Justice Department has reexamined the email case believing there are “ample grounds” for prosecuting Clinton on several counts.
Under the plea offer, Clinton would be required to sign a document admitting that she committed a prosecutable crime, without having to suffer the consequences for any of her criminal behavior.
In return, the DOJ would not bring charges against Clinton in connection with the email probe and would not proceed with an investigation of the former secretary’s pay to play deals involving the Clinton Foundation.
During an appearance on Newsmax’s “America Talks Live,” Klein said it’s unlikely that Clinton would accept a plea bargain from the Justice Department if the investigation was reopened because she was too stubborn to admit doing anything wrong.
“Sometimes she has trouble admitting that she’s Hillary Clinton, you’re absolutely right,” Klein said. “This is a woman who never, ever admits that she did anything wrong.”
Not only that, but Clinton has lived the majority of her life seeming to believe she is untouchable.
Now, we can only hope that Clinton does not accept the plea bargain, a deal which is too kind given the magnitude of her crimes and the damage she has done to our national security and American lives.
Everyone has to pay for what he have done, and Clinton, obviously, has a lot to pay for.
